A life coach can play a crucial role in supporting mental
health by providing personalized guidance, accountability, and encouragement.
Unlike therapists, who often focus on healing past traumas, life coaches help
clients set and achieve future goals, fostering a proactive mindset. They can
teach valuable skills such as stress management, time management, and effective
communication, which contribute to overall well-being. Additionally, a life
coach offers a non-judgmental space to explore challenges, enabling clients to
gain clarity and develop resilience. By empowering individuals to take charge
of their lives, a life coach can enhance self-esteem, promote positive
thinking, and ultimately support mental wellness.

I tailor each session to the individual client and their unique needs. Counselling should not be a scary or traumatic experience. I aim to make my clients as comfortable as possible whilst not avoiding the problematic truths or essential discoveries that could help them overcome their difficulties or aspects of themselves that keep them stuck and unhappy.
Our initial session is a chance for us to explore the possibility of working together and for you to get a sense of what your counselling might be like. This initial consultation considers exploring your goals, expectations and any anxieties about the process. We can consider short-term or open-ended work, depending on your suitability.
Most of my clients come for sessions bi-weekly as this gives enough time for them to do their assignments and practice what they learned in our sessions, so we can discuss the progress in the following session.
